Areas where a high proportion of the population are in very poor health are south Wales, the north east of England,
South Yorkshire, Merseyside, Blackpool, Stoke-on-Trent, Barrow-in-Furness, Mansfield and the Black Country. Areas
with the lowest proportion of the population in very poor health are the home counties, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire,
Wiltshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and the Yorkshire Dales.
