a town with a Scottish connection. Other areas with a high proportion of Scottish people are primarily in northern
England such as Carlisle, Blackpool, Richmondshire, Northumberland and Cumbria, and also the area from Humberside
south through Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire as far south as Hampshire.
